Dr. P.L. "Mick" MacKenzie
Paul L. "Mick" Mackenzie was born in Pennsylvania
but spent much of his youth through young adult years in Windsor,
Ontario Canada. He attended chiropractic colleges in both Texas
and Illinois in the 1970s. He was certified in acupuncture and
also extensively utilized clinical kinesiology. Dr. MacKenzie
practiced chiropractic for over 10 years in Texas and Hawaii.
In 1988, he was introduced to the Sage Learning Method - a
set of techniques developed by Martin Sage that not only allow you to recognize the state
of self actualization but also how to experience and reach that
state yourself. Dr. MacKenzie completed an intensive four-year
program in the Sage technology. It was at one of these classes
that he met his future wife Nicole Iselin.
Over the many years since, Dr. MacKenzie has been conducting
seminars and has continued his research in the learning principles
of self actualization. During this time he developed his own
learning method called the Self Actualization Learning Technology
(SALT).
Dr. MacKenzie presently conducts week-end, week-long and month-long
trainings, as well as business consulting in the U.S. and Europe.
Nicole MacKenzie
Nicole Iselin MacKenzie, a specialist in the field of human
potential and peak performance, was born and raised in Zug,
Switzerland where she obtained a degree in business and hotel-management.
Nicole came to the United States in 1986 to study Maslow's theories
of self-actualization and pursue an education in the human potential
field.
As part of her education, she became a trainer in the Sage
Learning Method and started "Curiosity Based" training in the
United States as well as in Europe. Nicole married in 1988 and
had her first child in 1989. Afterwards she became fascinated
with developing methods to help parents maintain curiosity and
vitality, plus fun and satisfaction while raising their children.
Her goal has been to teach parents how to encourage their
children to develop their unique personal gifts as well as a
high degree of emotional intelligence. Based on her extensive
research (and first hand experience raising her own six children)
she developed the highly effective MacKenzie Responsive Parenting
Method which is outlined in her book, "
Parenting Rule
#1: Mom Has Fun!"
Nicole presently lives part of the year in Texas and part in
Switzerland with her family. She also teaches and speaks internationally
on how to establish a working relationship between parents and
their children based on curiosity, fun, and peak performance.
