Ordinary Success vs. Full Potential
You may be able to honestly and objectively say that you are
'successful' by societys common benchmarks of material possessions.
And if we compare ourselves with generations past, there is
hardly a person today that cannot say they are immensely successful!
And yet still, with all of the advancement in science and technology,
we are left with seas of 'successful' people leading lives of
quiet desperation - frustrated, stressed out, feeling an underlying
unidentifiable
sense of dissatisfaction. A life of joy, purpose and deep fulfillment
seems ever elusive.
Upon reflection, many people find that
fulfilling their material desires only provides a short term
impact that does not handle their deeper craving for satisfaction
and happiness.
Do any of these apply to you?
- Do you feel you are currently successful
and are now ready to take your life to the next
level? But you don't exactly know what's "next"
is or how to get there?
- Do you have a vague feeling that something you can't identify is
"missing" or "not quite working" in your life?
- Are your material achievements not bringing you the sense
of fulfillment you thought they would?
- Do you have a sense that there is something "more" you were really
meant to be? That you're not yet really living at 100% of your
capacity?
- Do you feel you just don't have enough pure
enjoyment in your life? You don't get to do all the fun
things you really love to do to?
If so, these are actually quite positive signs! You've got
the capacity to look honestly at your life and admit that you
want more. Plus, such feelings are often an indication that
you've simply outgrown where you are in life and it's time to
take the next step.
A Beneficial Mindset...
In all the years I've been conducting seminars, I've noticed
that people with a particular set of attitudes commonly get
the best results. Those with...
- an inquiring intelligent mind
- a high degree of awareness, honesty and curiosity
- a healthy dose of skepticism
- a willingness for self-examination
...and a deep desire to lead truly magnificent life!
