Tobin Music
Created by Candida Tobin, the Tobin Music System is an exciting
method of teaching all aspects of the rudiments of music, harmonization
and composition. It also covers other musical subjects such
as playing the recorder, the keyboard or piano, classical guitar,
etc. There are also programs for computer and multimedia.
This unique method is extremely simple to use and teach. It uses all senses
to deepen and speed the learning process. Lessons involve color,
shapes and patterns, singing, movement, writing, humor and much
more. They offer books and software for you to teach yourself
or your children. They also offer classes in the UK.
We found this system so effective and so much fun that we have
started giving an overview of it in some of our longer classes.
Plus, the MacKenzie's eldest daughter, Mia, is now learning
to be an instructor in the Tobin method!
