"I don't recommend it!"
- Dr.
P.L. (Mick) MacKenzie
Huhh?? What gives? It's true though... just ask anyone who
has done it what was the first thing Mick said to them when
they enquired about the program! But why on earth would Mick
say that about the 30-Day - his 'premier' program?
It's simple... to make sure that you do not take this step
lightly. To make sure that you realize this will likely be the
most intense and challenging seminar you ever undertake. However,
the rewards and results are commensurate... when you participate
fully it will assuredly be the most amazing life changing experience
ever!
Access Your Natural State of Excellence
The 30-Day is designed to provide you with practical knowledge
for achieving and maintaining a high degree of vitality and
productivity in your life. The emphasis is on essential professional
leadership and life skills that are not taught in traditional
education. The focus is on immediate feedback without judgment
and many personal training sessions.
You had to learn on how to react emotionally to the impact
of the world. By identifying with the persona you have created
and reacting emotionally to events that happen to this persona,
life can become a very hurtful experience. When you identify
more with the 'real you', you are able to see how to choose
to respond differently to the impact of life. This course places
you in charge of when and how you use your emotions.
The outcome is to know more about your personal impact and
power, such that it becomes natural to produce the results you
want. You get re-magnetized and begin to attract exactly what
you need to get to where you want to go.
Why 30 Days?
Learning inefficient habits has been a lifelong process. It
requires at least a 30-day training period with accurate and
powerful feedback to re-align your system to a state of integrity,
reliability and accountability. The benefits will actually deepen
in your system over the coming year.
Committing to a 30 day training takes a lot of courage. It
is the most challenging class we offer. It is essentially a
character building boot camp, designed to allow the inefficient
learned habitual patterns to be acknowledged and therefore dissolved
if you choose. This will allow you greater freedom in becoming
the character you truly want to be.
See Yourself as Others See You
A pebble thrown into a pond isn't aware of the far-reaching
ripples it creates. The 30-Day is a unique opportunity to become
more aware of the ripples you create and the impact you have
on those around you. Get feedback on every aspect of your life.
Take an in-depth look at what's working and what's
not working in your life...
- What is keeping you from living a magnificent life?
- How are you selling yourself short?
- What aspects of your life and character do you want to work
on this year?
- Where are you sabotaging yourself and others?
- What will it take for you to take your life, your relationships,
and your business to the next level?
- Your income is commensurate with the level of service you
provide. What will it take for you to increase your level
of service?
What should I expect at the 30-Day?
Challenges on all levels
You should expect that you will be challenged on all levels
- emotional, spiritual, physical and energetically. You will
be asked to push yourself beyond your normal limits, i.e. fear
constraints, time constraints, mind constraints and physical
constraints. Your emotional "hot buttons" will get
pushed.
Be prepared for your life to be closely examined. We have no
taboo topics and everything can and probably will be discussed.
We will challenge and undermine many of the beliefs you hold
about yourself and life. You will be asked to do things differently
than the way you usually do them.
Full-on participation and teamwork
You will be asked to live for 30 days as if every day is the
last day of your life - within the paradox that you will live
a long and magnificent life. You will be asked to complete tasks
with 100% intention and commitment - as if your life depended
on it... because it does.
An important part of your training is to learn how to work
together with the other participants as a team. You will learn
how to participate fully on a team. We will closely examine
your (and everyone's) energetic impact on the team in order to
bring to light ineffective habits.
There are always children participating in the 30-Day, possibly
from new-borns up. Plus some participants may have physical
limitations that must be taken into consideration. Everyone
is a full team member, although everyone contributes and participates
at their own level of capability. You will learn how to be on
a team and take into account individual differences and yet
still challenge everyone to push past self imposed limitations
and beliefs.
100% Responsibility
Even though you are a participant, you will be in the 'assisting
function' for the entire 30-Day. This means that you will be
in fact, co-creating the 30-Day experience along with everyone
else. Do not expect to have someone "do it to you"
or just deliver data while you sit and evaluate.
You and your fellow 30-Day team members are expected to be
self-organizing to a large extent. Your team will be making
many of the decisions on group activities, planning, organizing
and executing them. This is an essential and integral part of
the training process.
Expect the unexpected
Schedules are fluid, changeable and somewhat unstructured.
It may even appear chaotic at times. This is by design. We pay
attention to the energetics of the group and do what is appropriate
accordingly rather than adhere to a rigid time table.
Activities and FUN!!
Although we have ample sit-down lecture style time, we spend
a great deal of time doing all sorts of indoor and outdoor projects
and activities - different ones depending on the time of year,
the venue and the particular desires and talents of any given
30-Day team. These activities however, are not idle playtime
or time 'away' from the 30-Day. In fact the truth is quite the
opposite...
The activities are actually the essential 'heart' of the 30-Day.
They provide the backdrop upon which your many challenges will
take place, where the team coalesces, and where you choose to
hold back or play full-on. They become the fodder for the follow-on
discussions, the real life examples we examine. It is during
the activities where the true experiential learning can take
place.
Here are some of the things we have done in the past. They
may or may not be included in your 30-Day event...
- Water activities such as swimming, snorkeling, surfing,
wind-surfing, scuba diving
- Winter activities such as sledding, skiing
- Diet and detox cleanse, BTM testing and remedies
- Daily movement exercise such as yoga, tai-chi or similar
- Challenge courses such as a 'ropes course'
- Long hikes, sometimes overnight
- Music and rhythm classes and performance
- Weekend workshops (where outside 30-Day attendees are welcome)
such as Men Wealth and You, Relationships, Parenting,
Self-Actualization
- Various business trainings and projects - marketing, investment,
internet
- Training "drills" where you get to see the behind-the-scenes
secrets of the SALT method - you become the trainer and interview
other team members

"I find that I do not take things
so personally anymore. I can hear criticism from others
and just listen, not think it is all about me. Sometimes
I don't even listen, I just get up and leave, something
also quite new for me!"
Tom Szabadi |
"We don't see things as they
are, we see them as we are."
Anaïs Nin
French-born writer best known for her autobiographical diaries |
"The constant accountability
to my mood, attitudes and emotions have given me tools for
seeing my own games and how I was standing in the way of
my own true genius..."
Tamara Sheesley |
"Through Mick MacKenzie's eyes
I have learnt the true meaning of compassion. Nicole has
taught me to value power above control. I have learnt to
love and nurture who I am."
Anne-Elise Nichols |
"Curious things, habits. People
themselves never knew they had them. "
Agatha Christie
British crime-fiction writer |
"I am 12 years old and was the
second youngest participant in the 30-day training. The
thing that changed most for me was when I go into my "attitudes".
I could see that I was in the attitude and could snap right
out of it instead of staying in it and throwing a temper
tantrum."
Sam Dubel |
"Wow! I don't think there
is enough room here to list all the benefits I got out of
the 30-day. First and foremost, I have a much more passionate,
loving and alive marriage. Being in the training with my
son, Sam, was a thrill, especially watching him emerge in
all his brilliance."
Sally Dubel |
"Teamwork is so important
that it is virtually impossible for you to reach the heights
of your capabilities or make the money that you want without
becoming very good at it."

"One of the neat things was when
our team was in synchronicity, incredible "out of the
blue" happened. People would call when we were just
thinking about them; pieces would suddenly fall in place
for our projects. I love to develop and be on teams that
synch like this. Incredible!"
Bill Sanda |
[after returning home...] "My
house looks gorgeous, my husband looks very handsome, my
competitors are now in cooperation. I'm still trying to
understand how can they all have changed so much!"
Diana Rittinger |
"The truth is that our finest
moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply
uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in
such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely
to step out of our ruts and start searching for different
ways or truer answers."
M. Scott Peck
American psychiatrist and best-selling author |
"The 30 day will suck. There
will be no sunshine shot up your ass. You will want to quit.
And as you persevere, you will sustain your soul in purpose
and function, and you will become ready and sure of how
it feels to be just you. And you will like you more often,
more easily, and there will be more of 'you' more often."
Christos Balise |
